The European Wilderness Society is sponsoring an International Wilderness Week virtual conference from October 19 through 23rd, which looks REALLY GOOD. Here is the description from the EWS website:
We are excited to announce that from 19th to 23rd October 2020, the European Wilderness Society will host the first International Wilderness Week. During these five days, Wilderness advocates from around the world will celebrate Wilderness with online presentations, discussions, workshops, live excursions, reports from community events, Q&As, join-in-activities and much more!
Registration is only 20 Euros. Even if you can’t participate in this conference, it is worth following the European Wilderness Society’s blog. The EWS is staffed by a team of passionate wilderness lovers/defenders who are doing a terrific job of education and activism about environmental issues throughout the world.
