The presses are rolling at All-American Printing Services in Petaluma, California for the 2022 issue of Deep Wild: Writing from the Backcountry, and the books will be shipping out next week!
This is a perfect time to give a hearty and heartfelt thanks to our graphic designer Dave Gutierrez from the great city of Reliance, Wyoming, for his investment of time and energy—our two most precious possessions–in Deep Wild Journal. The other content editors and I work with words, and assemble a veritable mountain of them. But it is Dave, with his creative vision and his technical expertise, who turns this mountain into something manageable, into something beautiful that we can all hold in hand and carry around with us.
