From Erin Robertson comes this pic of her tried-and-true Deep Wild-decorated water bottle perched precariously in Aksu Canyon, in the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve in Kazakhstan. Erin, a contributor to Deep Wild 2021, was recently in Kazakhstan at the invitation of the U.S. consulate, teaching writing classes to teens, after which she bravely hit the trail.
